Maureen has over 15 years experience as a singing teacher. She studied music in NUI Maynooth and majored in Performance.
Maureen established Lawlor School of Song in 2002 and built her school up to include group and solo classes with a hugely popular children’s choir.
In 2016 Maureen revamped her school to include to colleagues, former students, and renamed it Centre Stage Vocal Academy
Maureen works closely with Royal Irish Academy of Music Every year students receive Honours and distinction with many awarded Higher Achievers Awards.
She produces end of term performance and singing competitions as well as singing exams as options for her students to take part.
Having a goal inspires students to reach their potential in a supportive way. Dr. Hannah Fahy , course director, BA Performing Arts (voice) Irish world Academy University Limerick, has adjudicated Centre Stage singing competition 2018 with great enthusiasm.
